Major new wine/food eventThe Sydney Morning Herald and the team at Good Living are pleased to announce an exciting new wine festival for Sydney - NSW Wine Week, March 9-15. The NSW Wine Week program is designed to bring NSW wine into the minds and hearts of consumers. The major outdoor event, Sydney Cellar Door, will be held in Hyde Park on Sunday, March 9. At this event NSW wineries will showcase their wines to an estimated audience of about 15,000. Your restaurant is invited to participate in this exciting new festival, which will be supported by a significant advertising and editorial campaign in The Sydney Morning Herald, Good Living, Spectrum, smh.com.au and radio.
Dine with NSW WineMarch 10-15 Restaurants featured in the 2008 Good Food Guide are invited to participate in Dine with NSW Wine. A selected meal will be matched with a NSW wine at a price point of either $30, $40 or $50. The NSW wine will be selected in consultation with the NSW Wine Industry Association and participating wineries. Participating restaurants’ meal information and details will be promoted in the Good Living NSW Wine Week program and advertised in the lead-up to and during the event. Sydney Cellar DoorSunday, March 9. 11am-6pm The Sydney Cellar Door will feature wineries from all 23 NSW regions offering tastings, live entertainment and educational demonstrations. We are looking for stallholders able to serve quality food to an expected crowd of up to 15,000. The cost of a stall (standard 2.4m x 2.4m fete stall) is $750 (includes power and refrigeration).
